A few days ago I made a trip up to Tiger Hills in Arraijan to visit Pastor Ortiz and the congregation of Templo JesuCristo.
I was delivering a few donations from my family to the Children's Soup Kitchen that is run by the church. I was met by Pastor
Ortiz and as we walked through the church I was once again impressed by the Holy Spirit that I am to continue to support this
ministry.
As a Christian it has always been a part of my life to give to others, especially those who need it, but even more to
those who are working the vision God has entrusted to them. It had been about two years since I had visited and many things
had changed, but still many things needed to be taken care of. Pastor was so excited to tell me about the wonderful things
God was doing in the lives of his church members and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt he is the real deal.

My dear friend, Sal Ditroia, took that final step from this life to the next a month or so ago. It's just now starting
to sink in how much I will miss him. A kind man, a quiet man, a humble man who played guitar professionally on a level that
most musicians can only can aspire to. He was a mentor to Dan and a friend to many. It seems like just yesterday that we were
having lunch talking about the future and all the things he wanted to do. I was honored to know him and blessed to have sung
on the same stage that he played. I will miss him - I will miss his sweet disposition and his love for beautiful music. I
know he is playing in the presence of angels now.
When things like this happen I am once again reminded how temporal things are here and how important love and friendship
truly is. I will be sure to call those I know this week to tell them how much I value their life and how their heart has made
my life so much richer. I encourage you to do the same.
I love you Sal. I know I will see you again, my friend.... Just around the bend.
